How do I get API keys?
Sign up for a Niimbu account and navigate to the developer dashboard. Generate sandbox keys for testing and live keys for production. Keys are available immediately.
Is there a sandbox environment?
Yes. The sandbox mirrors the production environment with simulated payments, webhooks and edge cases. Test your entire integration without moving real money.
What languages do you support?
Official SDKs are available for JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and PHP. The REST API works with any language that can make HTTP requests. Code examples cover multiple frameworks.
How do webhooks work?
Configure webhook endpoints in your dashboard. Niimbu sends HTTP POST requests to your URL when events occur (payment confirmed, transaction failed, etc.). Each delivery includes a signature for verification.
What is the API rate limit?
Standard rate limits apply per API key. Contact support for higher limits if your application requires them. The dashboard shows your current usage.
Is there an SLA for uptime?
Service level agreements are arranged per contract rather than published as a blanket figure. If your integration needs a committed uptime target and the credits that go with it, talk to us and we will put the terms in writing.
How do I verify webhook signatures?
Each webhook delivery includes a signature header. Use your webhook secret to verify the signature and ensure the payload was sent by Niimbu and has not been tampered with.
What does it cost?
Opening an account is free. There is no monthly platform fee. API calls are not charged separately — you pay per transaction when money moves through the API.
Can I test with real bank accounts in sandbox?
