Why it matters

Taking the money is the easy part

Almost any business can accept a payment. What costs a real day every week is working out which transfer belongs to which customer, which invoice is still open, and what the business actually earned. Niimbu answers those three questions as a by-product of collecting.

Every channel, one set of records

Counter sales, transfers, links and store orders post to the same customer and product records. There is no separate book per channel waiting to be merged at month end.

Payments that match themselves

Money arrives already attached to the customer, invoice or order it belongs to. Reconciliation stops being something a person does with a spreadsheet on a Friday afternoon.

One honest view of what you are owed

Open invoices, part payments, overdue accounts and today's takings on one screen, filtered by outlet, customer or staff member.

How it works

Four steps, not a project

There is no implementation phase and nothing to install on a server. The longest part is verifying the business.

01

Open your account

Sign up, verify the business and you are live. No integration project, no minimum volume and no setup fee to negotiate first.

02

Turn on the channels you need

Invoicing, account numbers, links, the online store and the terminal are switches inside one account, not five products to buy separately.

03

Take the payment

Your customer pays however suits them, by transfer, card, link or at the counter. You are notified the moment the money clears.

04

Watch the record write itself

Stock, customer history and the books move with the payment, so closing the month is a review rather than a reconstruction.

Meet customers where they are

Sell the way your customers already buy

Some customers want an invoice on company letterhead. Some want to transfer to a number they can save. Some want to tap a link in a chat, and some are standing in front of you with a card. You should not have to choose one and lose the rest.

  • Transfers, cards and cash across every channel
  • The same catalogue online, on the link and at the counter
  • One customer record, however they choose to pay

From quote to receipt

One record, from the first quote to the final receipt

A quote becomes an invoice, the invoice carries its own account number, the payment lands against it, and the customer's history updates on its own. Nothing is rekeyed, so nothing drifts out of step.

  • Quotes convert to invoices without retyping
  • Part payments tracked against the balance
  • Statements and aged receivables built from live data

The idea behind it

Taking the money was never the hard part.

The cost is in working out who paid, what is still open, and what the day actually earned. Niimbu answers all three as a by-product of collecting, rather than as a job someone does afterwards.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, the Help Centre goes deeper, or you can talk to someone on the team.

What does Get Paid actually include?

Five ways to collect from one account: invoicing, dedicated account numbers, payment links, a hosted online store, and point of sale with terminals. They share one customer list, one product catalogue and one set of records, so a payment taken on any of them updates the same place.

Do I have to use all five to get started?

No. Most businesses start with one, usually invoicing or account numbers, and switch the others on as they need them. There is nothing extra to install and no separate contract when you add a channel later.

How quickly can I start collecting?

Most businesses take their first payment the same day they sign up, once the business verification is complete. There is no integration work required unless you specifically want to collect inside your own product, which is what the Embed products are for.

How do payments get matched to the right customer?

Every collection channel carries an identifier. An invoice has its own account number, a payment link belongs to a product or customer, and a counter sale is tied to the order it came from. The payment arrives with that identifier attached, so Niimbu posts it to the right record without anyone reading a narration.

Can I collect in more than one currency?

Yes. Invoices and payment links can be issued in foreign currency for customers paying from outside the country, and the settlement account and rate used are recorded on the transaction so your books stay auditable.

What does it cost to collect payments with Niimbu?

Opening an account is free and there is no monthly platform fee. You are charged per transaction, with lower rates as volume grows. Adding staff members does not change the price. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Does money collected show up in my books automatically?

Yes. Collections post against the customer, the invoice or the order, and flow through to bookkeeping without a manual entry. That is the point of keeping collection and operations in the same system rather than integrating two.
